October in Bay County Florida

I love the month of October in Bay County and surrounding areas. The activities this Oct. were a blast! I decided to experience as many adventures that I could for the month of Oct. I spent my time this month exploring, volunteering , and eating a lot of great food. I wanted to share some of my outings.

You can visit the Camp Helen pumpkin patch any weekend in Oct. Choose from hundreds of pumpkins, listen to the storytellers on the historic porch, and kayak freshwater Lake Powell. I went to the pumpkin patch, and kayaked. I dropped by the Oktoberfest at Aaron Bessant Park and Oktoberfest in downtown Panama City. These festivals offer food, drinks, live music, local shopping and eateries. I went to the Women's Civic Club Fall Fling at Frank Brown Park. There were unique vendor booths, and yummy homemade lunches and baked goods. You can also participate in multiple raffle drawings just for stopping at all the vendor booths. Don't forget to check out the Fall Bike Rally, even if you don't ride a motorcycle. There are so many different vendors, concerts, specials ,and motorcycles everywhere for 5 days. There are multiple farms and markets to explore, this is an excellent time of year for that. I attended three local carnivals and two Trunk or Treats. We had a frightening excursion at The Festival of Fears in Mary Esther, FL. We watched 3 neighborhood golf cart parades and volunteered in our community handing out candy. I plan to attend a friends annual neighborhood trick or treat on Halloween, to end my Oct. Are you looking for something to do in Panama City Beach? Thinking about a visit to Florida in the Fall?
